Research Topic
|
We are focusing on the processing of peptide-polymer conjugates to generate specific surface coatings. Thereby, enzyme-based mechanisms such as proteolytic cleavage of non-adhesive precursors were used to trigger bioconjugate adsorption. The resulting coatings are able to reduce nonreversible proteins interactions significantly and offer potentials for antifouling surfaces that can be useful for biomedical applications.
